Welcome to the Z3 Project:
Where Dialogue Between American and Israeli Jews Happens
Now More Than Ever
After the devastating attack on October 7th, the need to connect Jewry in the diaspora and in Israel took on a whole new dimension of urgency.
It became clear: the connection between our communities is not just a matter of peoplehood. It is an essential need for our very survival.
The Z3 Project's mission since 2015 has been to facilitate exactly this dialogue and connection. And after October 7th, we are more committed than ever.
About Z3
Promoting a stronger relationship between Diaspora Jewry and Israel, the Z3 project is dedicated to modeling how Zionism can evolve, and how Jewish communities can come together for meaningful discussions about the Diaspora and Israel. Since 2015, Z3 has gathered leading voices from across the political spectrum for debate and conversation, aimed at creating a new model of Jewish engagement in the 21st century.
Our Conference:
A Hub for Honest Dialogue
Our yearly conference held in the Oshman Family JCC is our largest event, and this year was no different. Held less than a month after October 7th, Jews came together from all over the world in grief and community to dialogue and connect.
As we often say, the magic happens between the sessions: the community here is invested in and created by its participants.”
– Z3 Team
Leading Voices
We heard from Israel and the Diaspora’s most important thinkers for a full day, getting up close with those shaping this conversation and relationship.
Confront the Issues
The Israel-Diaspora dialogue is more necessary than ever. This conference is about facing the biggest questions of our time–together.
A Diverse Group
The Z3 Project is committed to unity, not uniformity. That is why we bring voices from all parts of the Jewish spectrum to dialogue.
The Art of Dialogue
From our opening and closing plenaries to our breakout session and communal gatherings, the Z3 Conference is the home of constructive dialogue between a multiplicity of views in a way that is often hard to achieve with such complex topics.
